Oblate School of Theology

Founded in 1903, with a mission dedicated to the teaching of spirituality and ministry, Oblate School of Theology (OST) continues to provide theological education that transforms lives. In 1849, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), an international apostolic religious congregation of priests and brothers, came to San Antonio. Their mission is to preach Christ’s message and serve the people of God, especially the poor and marginalized. Today, OST opens its doors to Christians from all denominations to access theological education.
Mexican American Catholic College

The Mexican American Catholic College (MACC) is an independent, Catholic institution of higher learning. MACC was founded in 1972 by the Archdiocese of San Antonio and the Texas Catholic Conference. At the time, there were no pastoral materials for the growing Spanish speaking communities in Texas and around the United States. Today, MACC is a national center for theological education and the catalyst for development of Hispanic Ministry throughout the U.S.
