How You Can Support Assumption Seminary

Make a Recurring or One-Time Financial Gift

As you might imagine, a large operation like Assumption Seminary takes tremendous financial resources to keep the facilities in good repair, provide amenities for seminarians and plan for future growth of our work. And, every dollar that comes to us goes toward advancing our mission of providing holy, parish priests primarily for the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

At the link below, you can make a one-time financial gift or provide ongoing support through a recurring donation. We sincerely thank you for your consideration and generosity in helping Assumption Seminary serve the Catholic faithful throughout South Texas and beyond.

Legacy Giving

A Planned Gift is a charitable contribution made during your lifetime or any bequest that takes effect upon your death. A planned gift can be as simple as an outright gift of cash or as sophisticated as a charitable trust that is integrated into a multifaceted financial and estate plan. While all planned gifts benefit the seminary, some also benefit you and your estate through reduction in income tax and/or estate transfer taxes.

Other types of Legacy Giving include:

  • Endowments

  • IRA Transfers

  • Donor Advised Funds

  • Stock Donations or Transfers

  • Matching Gifts

Other Means of Supporting Assumption Seminary

Assumption Associates is a group of people united in support of the future priests being formed at Assumption Seminary. Like you, they want to help ensure future generations of Catholics will be able to encounter Jesus in the sacraments through His priests. This ministry will give you a deeper understanding and appreciation for the journey seminarians must endure to become gentle shepherds of the Church.

If your time is limited right now and can't work with Assumption Associates, we would ask you to pray daily for our seminarians and the success of Assumption Seminary.

If you are interested in learning more about Assumption Associates, you can email the group at: futurepriests@yahoo.com, or call 210-289-6905 (Deborah Jonas).
